Ferus Olin
We designed and created this custom outfit for writer/director Ryan Schifrin, who also happens to be a cover art model for the book series “The Last of The Jedi”. Artist Drew Struzan used Ryan’s likeness as reference for the central character Ferus Olin, a Jedi who’s story bridges the gap between the 2 movie trilogies.

Ryan presented us with a unique challenge desiring a “definitive look” for the character that would combine several elements; the basic look of the “prequel Jedi” but with elements that echoed the flavor of the original trilogy. Plus he wanted a healthy dash of Han Solo thrown in to give it that rogue-ish look.

Black tunic with standing collar and double breasted front. Tabards with woven leather and Phrik plates. Padded back of quilted leather. Bracers with angled, curved Phrik plates. “Prequel” Jedi belt with original trilogy style buckle.
